Remove built in starnut???

How difficult is it to take out the built in star nut from Phoenix Phorx? Does anyone know how? Thanks

You would have to cut it or drill it. I drilled mine since I bought it used and it was stripped. Really easy to drill. I use a bolt and nut now.

And because I want to install ICS

What i did with mine, I drilled out the threads and rethreaded the forks a few sizes bigger. That way i could use ics, or scs with a larger bolt.

You have to drill not cut, phorx are designed for baby scs and so only go 1 1/2 inches above the top of the headset - cutting further would make it really weak even with ics.
