so whats the deal with like rendering or what ever? my friend said if u upload clips and render them the quality will look much better on youtube? any one know if thats true or anything about this topic?
ok lol my friends stupid then haha but if im getting a canon hf vixia 41 and i have a mac if i upload clips to youtube by uploading them in 1080 it will be good quality correct? haha i dont know much about quality or camaras
if you want to upload only the clips, then just upload the clips straight from the camera. but if you want to edit them into a video then you'll need to render them when you're done editing, which will lower the quality.
if you ONLY want one clip, such as this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k29D08v9Hck then upload straight to youtube so you can get the best quality.
if you want a bunch of clips in an edit, like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJcUHz7K-_M&feature=channel then you need to edit the clips. the rendering will lower the quality a little bit, but if you render it with the right settings it won't be too bad at all. i rendered my video in 720p so it would be a smaller file size, but i could have rendered it in 1080p which would have been the best quality. however, even at 1080p, it loses a little bit of quality from rendering.
