Replace Addict Brake

I'm planning to get an Addict deck soon, but I don't like the thought of having a plastic brake... is it possible that I could use a Phoenix Brake? I know this has been posted, but i need a more detailed explanation. Anybody out there with an Addict deck who could try and see?

Any deck can use a flex fender, you may need to drill holes in the deck and bolt it on.

Does it snap easily? Because, i dont really want to deal with things like that...

idk because its brand new, it aslo comes with 3 extra brakes if it snaps

it shouldnt be too bad the majority of people only use the brake for manuals anyway so it should last long and theres 4 of em soo

well theres already a hole in it and eventually he will have to deal with this problen anyway because from what ive heard it only lasted a day for some people

I'm worried about it. I use the brake often due to the hill i ride down on my way home from the park

I snapped some kids brake at my local. But its ok he has 3 more!!!! -__-

if you are that worried about it you can buy a phoenix brake for it

and im sure magray will make some soon if they dont already have some

It wont snap.. Is like soft flexy plastic so it will just keep bending

i saw a guy at the skatepark with an addict and the brake was worn out and it broke in half longways so the tire wore threw it

I put on a new one today, went down my big hill where if I don't brake, i die. It wore down down fast. My brake was unusable, the wheel wore through it all the way.
