i dont understand it how in scootering a video can set you up to "PRO", but in skating/bmx you have to win comps get paid for what you do and alot of other shit. Scootering is so unlegit on the pro and am side.

Scootering is a small sport., there isnt competitions help every weekend. Riders are rarely ever flown out to compete in a competion in our sport. Ricky obviously displayed that his riding level was better then riley predicted in the first place. So is it that bad to bump him up to pro? Of course not. If a rider is good and has the skill to be on the "PRO" team, then why not? Ricky obviously shreds, and clearly deserves the spot?

Being a pro: You gotta pay your dues, take your licks, Have your own style, good attitude, a good bag of tricks including your personal tricks. Its not just about winning or losing in comps. way much more then that. Your probably to young to get it.
