I've never doneit before but I put on my TILT SCS LT I had sitting in my little workbench thingy and I had my bars cut down 2' for Proto FULL SCS so I had to use two little cane creek .25in spacers so my bars are 22 still, does this affect strength or anything? I'm sure its fine unless I hit el toro or something which I don't think i'll ever do so i'm not too worried about it but just making sure.

Yes it affects the strength very much. That is the point where they will snap. I broke my addict dagger fork after 1 month because I had spacers a few spacers on it.

Josh Moore broke his dagger fork too after like a month, I think it's just the fork not the spacers imo

and you realize he is talking about putting headset spacers IN his scs, not just putting headset spacers on his fork right? ^^

I rode spacers for 3 years and only took them off now. Snapped two QCS forks but I have had my Thom Cat for about a year now and it's as strong as I bought it.

I do think it may be slightly weaker putting the pressure point higher than the headtube but I really wouldn't worry about it.

PS: get cromo forks you will be forever happy.
