River Wheels by PROTO Scooters

i have talked to whoever runs the proto page many times in the past month, they are deffinitly making them again and they are making them EXACTLY how they used to be. (design wise of the cores that is)
Until Manzie or Steadman or Broussard get in here and give answers
(or answers anywhere, for that matter) I'm not believing a word of it. Too many products have been "coming out soon" only to just disappear
(Blunt Polycarb cores, Blunt Rebate wheels, Eagle Nylon cores).

blunt and eagle are not proto, there not going to release parts if they end up being shitty. and andrew runs the facebook page. Why would they joke about something like that? and not just one time, they have said it numerous times. your so fucking retarded

River Wheels is another way for Andrew to diversify his products and team members. It has nothing to do with Proto Wheels. So far it looks like it's a wheel company to support a whole new lineup of riders and it allows Andrew to experiment with innovative wheel designs without giving up or modifying the existing Proto wheel.

I'm really excited to see where this goes!

If there is a throwback Hep Greg sig wheel (Gold core, that perfect blue urethane, and dare I say 125mm?) I will shit myself.

I remember TomK had a pair of like negative Hep sigs or something. Bright yellow urethane, blue core. Any chance of those making a revival?

I don't understand why a company that is under proto would make a 'revival' wheel of a rival company..

Because he's not on that team anymore and those sig wheels are discontinued? It happens in other sports all the time, there are plenty of skateboard and snowboard graphics that are throwbacks to other graphics from different brands.

Those where Inward Scooters prototype wheels that I think were produced by Eagle, not Protos.

well hep is on Proto(flowto)

so there is one way it could happen if he got on river which shouldnt be a problem for hep UNLESS HE DOESN'T WANT ANOTHER SIG WHEEL. then were just gonna not have a hep sig wheel ahha
