That is wrong.

The wheel generally touches the brake before where it is cut off anyways.

I cut mine to stop it hitting the ground when the scooter flips upside down, now it touches the wheel and bars, instead of brake and bars.

Lololol you'll have to have a proto deck, or wait until another deck with UBS comes out. you won't be able to use the proto brake. Its a whole different system.
