Scooter Dress Code and I'm Pissed Off

i agree on some aspecs but sounds like allot of bitching and moaning.

let people wear what they want just don't look dumb and wear things that are needed like skate shoes instead of tennis shoes or whatever.

i mean i understand what u r saying about some of it... but i say it dosnt matter what people dress like or even the tricks they do or places they have to ride... as long as there out there supporting the sport

i agree withmost of what you are saying except, the part about the spots to ride. some of us dont have easy axcess to good street spots, so we have to ride in front of our houses, but once your old enough to drive, and can axcess good street spots, i understand what you are saying.

most deff. true. but in weather like this, i almost always wear some quicksilver shorts or like board shorts or something. like when its so hot that you get out of your house for five minutes to walk to the mailbox and you're sweating, then i think its cool to stick with shorts.
i'd like to never touch a pair of shorts with a ten foot pole again, but it kills you, especially when you're so sweaty that you can't get them off.

Oh, and nobody disses Rob Forman. No one. His clothes look fine, stop whining.

I guess I kinda agree about looking a bit better, but if everyone wore the same stuff it would just be dumb, it would take some of the originality out of scooters, like you know what i mean? if a person saw a rider who just started out, in decent clothes, but they sucked, and they saw another scooter rider with the same clothes, they would think "oh, just another gay scooter rider who can't even bunnyhop hahaha". one of the reasons i love scooters is because there's really no "standard" for what to wear/tricks to do. if i wanted a dress code i would ride a stickboard.

I do agree about doing tricks over things, on obstacles, but thats hard for younger riders like me who can't drive.

if you want scooters to be as extreme as you claim they are and maybe get some pootie for the road you won't go to the skatepark/mall/wherever dressed as a faggot

and no offense to this guy, but if you really want to make a statement and you're wearing this, go home. not trying to be mean, but elastic is wayyy out of style, and just makes out sport queer(er)

and the shoes are a big part. skate shoes are a plus, and they're extra comfy/grippy.

if you're too poor to afford shoes that are skate-style, then go to zumiex or pacsun and get some shoes that are on sale for like $20

people like jonny yocum and the babboons really impress me, cuase they dont give a shit about what people think of them, so they just wear what they want. i'm sure there are other people out there dress like that, and i give them major props

I don't like this at all. i dress fine and people who dress themselves obviously think they dress fine aswell so i don't think you or anyone, should tell anyone what and what not to wear.

And if you are going to to that i don't think they will listen to you because you haven't criticized anything that i actually wear but if you did then i wouldn't change it for you or anyone so yee.

And Parker don't bring certain people into the thread, thats Rob Forming and what he is wearing i would never wear but does it matter, aslong as he is riding a scooter that what this forum is all about, stop complaining on how he is dressed, it doesn't matter!
