Try it and find out. It's not as fun when you just hit the brake it's more fun when you put your weight over the bars, put one foot up near the head tube, and push the wheel out with the other foot. If you do this really well then you won't flat spot your wheel.

I tried it in my basement with a razor a model wheel.

It was going good until i hit a support beam with my head.

do you know how hard it actually is to do that? I find it so hard, especially when your going fast

I do, that's why I'm saying to do it. You only kind of mess up your wheel doing that unless you're on super rough ground. Just kick the deck out super hard and keep it there, I've done some pretty long two wheel slides actually.

For powerslides, kind of. A bit forward but mainly way back and I guess opposite of the way the deck is going.

My mate just got a Go Pro so when he gets the helmet mount i will see if i can make a drift video with some spare wheels. I just have to find a decent place to do it.

Me and my mates found an old barbie scooter with rubber wheels by the canal. We took it and had a bomb going down the hill near the canal but the plastic of the core started to melt like mad.
