Scooter Strength Limits Sport

ryan i'd definitely say reinforce the dropouts with a B or pro model. you dont need a plate running the length of the deck. bolt it on at the whole for the axle, and run it about an inch and a half past the brake spring axle thingy. one of them on each side and your dropouts will definitely last longer.

i think i have snapped every part in a scooter at least once. those stupid things are so weak!!!! we need ti scooters. they'd be light and strong. and expensive but i'd get one. anyone got a machine shop that can handle ti? o another thought scooters are badly designed. we also need a well designed trick scooter. and don't say pro model. it snaps too.

You know that cf scooter? Is it only made out of cf? Because if so you could make it with two support rails out of steel going the length of the deck so it'd be strong yet decently light.

i dont think its 100% cf, but you could try

and drop out reinforcements are not always that great, because it just transfers were most of the impact affects the deck to another spot...ive broken decks in the middle because of dropout reinforcements

I got myself banned.
You could also try new A with a B folding mech. Im telling you, these things dont break. Im riding one that i rode through the whole summer again and its still fine.

well, bikeframes have pipes, scooters dont.
EDIT: its the question of its construction, whats bothering me.

we making decks. just gotta try to make them light enough that people would ride them. ive only ridden 2 As and a viper ever. other than that i rode my own i made for like a year until it got stolen or somthing. it was indestructable but kinda heavy. i could dub whip it flat tho so it wasnt that heavy i guess. few months im hoping to have decks out and maybe sell through KCs site. want them tested goood though.

yea CORY you know i will test that shit for tall people lol i will test that shit so keep me up to date

how heavy did those full-reinforcements make your B deck?

Because my friend welded a lot of reinforcements (steeeel, heavy shit) under his deck and it made it quite hard to control a tailwhip.

ah i do that droup out reinforcement like that ... for street olny . it keeps it strong . if it still snaps in the front then get a new one ... every few months to bye a new scooter isnt bad .or you just could land cleaner .. for park i dont need a droup out mod just a fork mod .
