phoenix wheels will last you a really long time my last pair lasted 6 months

I have a Gripper on the front abd Slider on the back. I bought them used 7 months ago and they have barely shown wear. It makes me think 6 months is not a long time for wheels.

Depends on variables really, like how often you ride, what terrain you ride, how hard you ride and what tricks you do.

Like if i ride once a week and you ride every other day, chances are your wheels will wear out allot faster.

i ride phoenixs....after you buy bearings for the protos, theyre the same price as the phoenix wheels, because they come with bearings. and the bearings are amazing..

I ride 3 days a week, mostly street and some park. Rough asphault and I weigh 140 lbs. I ride them pretty hard, considering Yak and Blunt wheels lasted me less than two months each on the same conditions.

I would go with sliders. Honestly i barely hear anything bad about them, but i hear a lot of grippers coming ovalized.

Sliders AND grippers come ovalized. They use the same cores, it wouldn't be plausible that one or the other would come ovalized exclusively.

My mate is still running my old old proto gripper on his scoot which i bought like a year and a half ago, no chunks or anything, just a few cracks and its really worn down
