If I just came out and said I don't skate I scoot then I'd get owned by everyone being called a poser and stuff. You just gotta show them that you can rip up a spot better than them, then let the word spread that you can do work.

i started out my freshmen year (this year) by wearing all scooter shirts to school (inward, eagle, sky high, quebec) and kids were making fun of me until i beat the living fuck out of this leading skater kid, he wouldnt let me skate the school, and he kept calling me gay so now he has a broken nose. now i have respect but the kid i beat up named matt kinda thinks im psychoo

What you do is just not give a ----- or pretend to not, and kids will just keep being assholes. There's not much you can do about it. Just ask them why they think scooters are sooo stupid, and they will never come up with a valid answer.

I only know of like 2-3 bikers in my town that hate scooters. All they do is follow me and like 10 other scooterers in my town and be like "buy a bike lol". Other than that most people know I scooter and they don't give a fuck.
