Scooters in future

i think they might change as in styles.
like a cruising scooter
and a freestyle scooter
Maybe but i like the way that razor and micro have made just freestyle scooters so it gives the impression that we're cool. :) we dont want some 42 year old virgin who rides a scooter with bars as high as they can go just cruising to the shops.
I'd like a scooter that you will not need to mod! supper strong and durable
only if riding styles change, right now 90% of the tricks are ones you would do at a park. i dont see anyone doing timemachines or hitch-hikers on scooters. how often do you see some one grind a guardrail or 180 some street fence?

edi: and sean micro has the TP pro if thats what they/you were talking about, and if i do make them frames then yes people can order custom head angle and length

I think he means there should be headset designed for just scooters. that would be hot.

A completely 1 peice deck and headtube would be awesome. a front handbrake would be awesome, with a detangler thing too so whips and barspins would still be possible. Stronger wheels of different sizes for like street, vert, etc would be killer. I think eventually there'll be like every part in tons of sizes, designed for specific riding terrain and styles. theres a lot of things that hopefully will happen.

A one peice deck would be dialed. But I do think it wouldd be ok to make the deck aluminum and bolt a totally new type of head design on with just 2 big bolts. That way you can use different materials for the head and deck. otherwise if it was all chromoly it would be heavy. A slightly wider deck would be good, as well as multiple lenghts which would mostly be a little bit longer than they are now. Integrated headtubes for sure. They are probably the fastest spinning sealed headsets made.

yea id do the integrated if the head was cromo and the body was alum. but i still like the whole entire thing welded idea too. it all depends on how things work out if i could get the headtubes from a close enough bike co. like fbm.

if people like the bolted and integrated idea better id do that but in the beginning im just gonna stick with the aluminum frame.

the most i can see scooters advancing would be mass production of products that work straight out of the box without all the modification and maybe the scooters will all have 125 mm wheels and better designed aluminum bodys without the stupid folding mechanism and mass production of bars like rads or buffs, there isnt much u can change and still keep it a scooter

you must have the most largeest and most anoying aviator ever!

Well FBM doesnt make their own headtubes. In fact MOST bike companies dont... I know who does though and i happen to have some right here!
These are the same type headtubes used on thew FBM PW-Moto frame. Which in my opinion are the best looking.
It helps to know people. :) even though anyone can get ahold of these.

I have ALOT of plans for the future, but right now before i can start making anything I'm just saving my money for a long list of tools which will allow me to make everything in house on my own, even powder coating. Wont be long either since i have a very good job, in which I also have access to a CNC machine for other things. But i dont really have any plans to use it since i dont see a need for it.

Cory. You know im down for one of those internal head tubes when you make them.

All i want from the future is a stronger deck, internal headtube and a better brake.

a deck that spins in the direction of kikfklips and heelfips wen u press a button. so wen u press the button, the deck goes loose and u can kik it and make it do like kikflips. ya i no it sounds gay. but how cool woulda a quint kikflip tailwhip be with this thing. lol

if you wanna do tricks like that then just practice, but pressing a button to do a trick for you is gay even if it could be done. thats why i dont like video games
