Ok well you're not supposed to have a slit in SCS no matter what type of bars they are if that's what you're trying to say, but my buddy Tom Mattingly rides district bars in his baby PROTO and they're fine

You could put a old fork tube in the bars too cover the slit. It will work, if you have aluminum bars you will have too get a proto not baby, tilt, vertx scs. If your are steal any scs will work.

so what district bars do you mean, alu or steel. with steel any scs will work but with the alu you will need a full size scs as the outside diameter is bigger. anyway it should hold but district bars arent the strongest bars out there, they are light though and they will hold up for most riders for quite a while

Just make sure if you bars are the alloy ones you need a full size SCS as the outer diameter is the same a oversized / HIC Bars.
