Scs for just a clamp

if you use threaded forks and a nut, or ics yes. just not with hic.

well actually, if you flipped the full size scs upside down it might work xD

Yes, bit it would be dumb. You even said yourself, it's a waste of money. Unless your fuckin up bars like Tom K, there's no reason too.

And if you're using a threaded fork, it cuts into the aluminum SCS and it'll lessen the contact surface. Less contact surface = less friction = less clamping force

You can make an SCS-ICS hybrid, like I did with HIC a while ago. You just get a nut that screws on to your ICS bolt. Put the scs on like you normally would, and get the top cap on. Now instead of getting a bolt that screws in to your fork, put the ics bolt through the fork and feed it through the top cap. Simply screw the nut on top of the top cap, and there you go. Then you just use the rest like scs.

No no no... I would not touch my ics and take away my .clamp. To use a scs without the hardware for just a .clamp.
