They look identical to Phoenix phorx, sorry. The Suprise does look quite ravishing, I just reckon there could have been a more original idear.

Yea, but most forks will end up like that. Kinda the same way most skateboards are relatively the same shape.

There are many variants of fork out there actually, although all have the same basic shape they are all unique, to me this looks like a spot on replica of a Blunt SOB or Pheonix Phorx... Trust me there are other designs out there man!

im guessing hic integrated to the fork.... system scooters have made prototypes of it. i cant imagine what else it could be since the forktube is blurred

I'm afraid I have no clue how the hell that would work.

It is confusing but is basically the idea of HIC, but the fork tube has an upper part that tightens onto the whole fork and compresses the headset. Once the piece is on, it still has the diameter of a standard fork, so you can slide your standard bars on with a normal clamp. Saves you from needing a shim, oversized bars, and an oversized clamp. The only problem so far was the forks were bending. We are looking into fixing this problem, but once it is strong, it will be, in my opinion, the most efficient way to ride threadless compression.

That sounds legit as hell, but would be best with Chromo forks.

Ever notice how almost all skateboards are the same shape? Same with bikes?

PEOPLE, WE DO NOT RIDE BIKES, OR SKATEBOARDS. There are so many possibilities.
these look like a Phoenix phorx just with new drop outs.

Mild disappointment, but thats only from me.

BTW: does open drop outs have any structural use or am I missing something, considering our axles work fine and there's no need to slide wheels out considering they're so small?

this is probably the dumbest guess ive ever had at anything.. but interchangeable forktube? i cant think of any other reason to cover the forktube.

There are only so many possibilities for forks that are strong and look good before the designs start to just look stupid (aka Kubar fork, TSI concept fork thingy). I'm happy to see more companies producing good forks. And these are 7075 aluminum instead of the 6061 that Phoenix uses. So you end up with a stronger, lighter fork with whatever the blacked out portion is covering. And nobody bitches about Phoenix stealing FiD's design...
