if you can take a photo with it, there's always room to take amazing pictures + improve.

Work on composition and timing a little bit more.
if he can't grab the wheel on tyregrabs, don't take the photo.

i had a fujifilm camera, shittier than yours, and i took allot of great pictures with it.

dont blame your camera on your photography skills, ever. And fujifilm is a great company, and 8.2 megapixles is great so i dont know what your talking about? you just have to know how to use your camera.
