I rode Janoskis for six months and I bought vans, now my Janoskis feel awkward as shit. I say Vans, but it's all preference.

I wear Nike p-rod 5 and their super nice. They look hella fly and are plenty padded all around. Plus they have a lunnarlon soul which is SUPER squishy and comphy. Also, I live about 1 mile up a crazy steep hill and always use my foot to break so my wheels last and I got these shoes near Christmas time and they haven't warn down a noticeable amount.

Just replaced my 3 month old half cabs with the new Supra s1w Stevie Williams sig shoe and all i can say are good things about these. They are half the weight of my old vans, the sole stitching is on the side similar to nike sb's which lasts way x2 longer in my experience then glued soles. Imo what makes these better then any nike ive owned is the all around extra protection for your ankle, theirs two giant pads on each side in case you whack the side of your ankle with the deck. Super comfy and they look nice too, if you get bruised heals alot i suggest these with some ortho inserts you wont regret it.
