this is for kids that are too lazy to bolt their folding mechs, its a rip off, and you could make a way sicker scooter for was less than 500

that's how they make money to pay their workers, start new products, etc...Grant Hargens said:And don't companies sell their products for more $$$ compared to the price it costed to make them? ?!
it has reinforcments one piece bars bolted foldy pegs as well.Pro scoota matt said:its just a bolted pro with metalcores, some stickers, new grips, and a wierd t-tube clamp. so the actual cost would be like 50+100+10+25= less than 200 dollars
Scooter Rob said:Fuck, that seems like alot of suck. i mean..
Sr wheels: 80$
pro mod deck: 45$ (amazon)
wee bars: ~110$
Sr fork (v2): ~60$
Reincorcements: ???
Dialled scooter: 295$.
Basically, with 300$ you make a far better scooter than this..
(~ means estimate)
Thank you Chase <3Chaseme37 said:I really don't see it as being that overpriced. Americans, you need to remember that it's $500 Aus dollars which is ~$387 American, and the super solid American scooter you described (with cheap SR shipping and $40 pro's) is around $350. ADDED with the fact that Aus does NOT have $40 pro's and cheap SR shipping, AND the company needs to make SOMEWHAT of a profit if it wants to survive, so if you stop and do all the math, this is a fairly priced scooter. It just looks like a lot of money because you're buying all the sick parts (that you eventually would buy anyway) all at one time, and they're charging you a bit extra to put it all together and to profit.
Personally I think it's sick that there's shops that are promoting the freestyle scooter scene. If I didn't have all the aftermarket parts I do now and I lived in Aus I would probably buy this scooter because I think it looks "sick as". So yeah, way to go Skater HQ![]()
