This was gonna be officially the Skatepark of Levittown,
that project already had all the backup from sponsors and stuff,
but due to some certain persons that big project got cancelled :(

Definatly. If there is one thing I am always amazed by your designs Madis, is the fact that you take this huge strip and make it look so insane. And there aren't just 90 degree hips, you have different angles and everything. You should definatly be like an architect or something. You would kick ass.

That would be so hard and it would end up looking like shit. Getting all the angles right and different so It looks disturbed. I was gonna try one but then I realized it would be way to hard.

Bump again, this thread went bye bye. Hopefully people will make more parks when they see this. On the 3d warehouse at http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=9d748a497abbf17ed5a31349d9036467&prevstart=0 I have uploaded a mini pipe. You can download this to further explore it. I made a video of making this which is at http://vimeo.com/638185. You can also link to the page on the 3d warehouse from the video. The footage is COMPLETELY raw. No edit has been made at all. It is very long, about 30 minutes. It shows me taking measurements and things and making transitions. The first part of it is literally explained before you, by words on the screen. This I hope shows people more about the process of making a model and how to do it if you don't understand. It basically shows you the making of a quarter pipe. I suggest watching this if you do not understand this program and even if you are more experienced it should show you have to make more complex ramps that look better. So again, watch the video, learn more, and then download the model and make your own touches or build off of it.

That was the project that Dan Barrett, Eric Magray and other US Levittown locals were organizing, they had all the backup from sponsers and from the city council and they even got a huge area for the skatepark that needed some work. For my suprise it was suppose to become an indoor park even. But due to some local's issues that i can't talk about, that whole project got cancelled :(

Wow, that would have been a perfectly awesome thing to happen to PA. An awesome park, designed by a scooter rider, organized by scooter riders, so I would assume it would be one of the few good parks that allowed scooters. Somebody make a park, I want to see some stuff. I cant figure out how to do this one part of the park I want to design. It's got all sorts of crazy angles in it.

Some local dudes asked for some help in public to design a 60 x 40 ft park which they MIGHT build.
A foambox was required to draw too.
So i posted them this :)

Right side, first pic, the wall rideish thing. Use the arrow tool to select your the lines connecting the trannies and select the soften action. It makes it look way better without those lines. Directed to Madis by the way. Just a suggestion.
