that was so rad. why the fuck doesnt shit like this happen in sydney

Mainly because noone in Sydney wants to ride street unfortunately. In fact this was attempted, everyone just broke into little groups and tried to one up eachother, then everyone ended up riding Summer Hill Skatepark. I think if one was actually organised properly, with like some companies and designated spots, then it would maybe work out if we had more actual street riders, not park riders who try to one up eachother on street.

I made a thread about this in the aussie land ride share, I feel as if friendly has the power to make this happen and there is a rising amount of legit street riders.

In regards to Friendly, it seems as if a lot of Sydney riders don't like us. At the street ride I mentioned earlier, a few of us were there and all the other riders who were there said stuff like 'you ride with Friendly? You must be 100% swag,' and other stupid remarks that don't really make sense. I feel like if we tried to organise an actual street jam, a lot of riders would boycott it as some strange act of anti-street riding activism. Although I do agree that there are more and more upcoming street riders/crews, so at least they would attend.
