Damn dude, that's disappointing. Protos were basically the only wheels that didn't chunk.

I want to pick up some Grippers soon, I'll let you know how it goes lol.

i had sliders and they didnt chunk but i didnt have them more then a week im getting more soon tho they seem better then the grippers i had

My sliders have lasted me over a year and are still going great. they've both got about 5-10mm of urethane left but they're just as hard as they were when I got them and are even faster now that there's less rubber to absorb speed. suuuuuuuuuper slide-y too, sometimes even too slide-y. I want more.

whats the main differences between the two? I have Grippers and was thinking about getting some sliders but i wanna know the difference first

They are fine, the issue was with the DK sigs. The only thing you need to worry about is like the first 2 weeks of having them for chunk issues. After that, smooooth sailing.

actually, they do wear down, which is good.
and since they are harder, they aren't as smooth because they don't absorb as many small cracks/rocks/bumps/ect.
you get more feel of the ground your riding on
