I'm going to make some T-bars and I want them to be 22 wide and 25 tall. I realize at that height and width normal T bars can not possibly withstand the torque of riding and will eventually bend albeit the crossbar or downtube. So I was thinking because I ride baby scs...that I can get a bigger inner-diameter of tubing than the normal .058 thick wall. I was going to get .065 because that is the next biggest size down from .095 which is way too thick and heavy for bars. I will also be getting the crossbar in thickness .065. I was wondering if any of you have made bars before would this be a good idea? I don't want it to be too heavy but I don't mind a little weight. Thanks for any replies. Sorry for the essay lol
