The front dropout of the deck is probably hitting the wood on your box and causing you to catch. You need to wax the wood, and lean further back.

first helpful post. and its a freshpark. So i should wax it more? cause i waxed it a bit and when the front dropout lands on it it just stops.

it sounds funny but learn whips into them its easier to learn how to position the slide =P

it depends if you are trying them fs or bs and either way i dont think this would help most people.

Same weight/foot placement as a double peg, they feel almost exactly the same. Dial in your double pegs then try em'.
for me smiths are sooo much easier then double pegs. because with a smith you only have to worry about your front peg locking in, instead of both pegs.
