i like yak abec 7s, they're cheep, strong and fast. maybe not as amazing as some super expensive abec11 things, but they are damn good. and face it, you'll never clean them so after a weeor two all bearings are about the same.

they are pretty smooth, the abec 5s that came on my XT are amazing too.

REDZ , it also kinda depends on what wheels you have like the softer they are the smoother they are even with crappy bearings
