So close to landing a tailwhip, tips to landing it?

Sometimes I land it like 1cm away, and in like 5 milliseconds i put my foot on the deck. but my feet still touche the ground. but when i do land it like 1cm away i land near the headtube
but other times i land it like 20cm away, but this is near the brake.
i keep telling myself i can do it, and trying to fix what i do wrong and try harder and harder, but i just cant land it! any tips? dont give me youtube videos ive practically seen them all. and dont tell me to kick harder and spin faster, tried that. and im too pussy to tie my feet together..

Hey man! Tailwhips are pretty solid to learn but I got them by non stop practising! Just jump as high as you can, that's all I can really say! How do you do them? Ski,goofy, or regular?

Don't push yourself too hard!!!!! I found that I landed a heelwhip within a day of practicing, but the following day I could not land one no matter how hard I tried. Then on my way in afterwards, just hucked it and got it first try.

Tailswhips are more in the wrists then anything else. Just jump, Slightly kick the deck out but not to forcefully and then concentrate on the wrist movement and landing it.

JUST KEEP PRACTICING! I didnt know how to whip until i was on my 7th month of scootering! I have been scootering for 1 year now and im learning triple whips now!
Once you learn how to whip, everything will click.

dude, it was the same with me. on my crap foldy i couldnt tailwhip, i got my ultra pro i could tailwhip within a day. so it kinda depends on your scooter too. good parts work better with tricks. okay next, when i was learning my whips, i felt that putting my feet near the back of the deck helped it spin around faster. try to jump as high as you can for more hang time and more time for the deck the spin around. try to flick it around with your wrists. try just spinning your deck while standing on the ground to get used to the feeling. also, as you throw the whip, jump a little forward so you can catch the whip sorta when it is at like 320 or 330 degrees around. get used to that then you can catch them normal.
