I can get 20 feet of buff/ 1 piece bar steertubing for less that 20 bucks.
It is ALOT cheaper to make bars and for buffs all you need is a drill

But what makes BUFF's the price they were, was the stem and clamp. The stems by themselves usually sell for around $40-60. Plus the clamp, labor, materials and shipping. It adds up.
