I drove an Evo.

I drove the exact same car as in the picture, only it had an upgraded intercooler, turbo timer, and boost controller boosted to 23 psi :eek:

Needless to say, I'm in love. It drives like a dream and screams when you gun it.

Lol nawh we got it in the states starting in 02 or 03. The one I drove was an 03 and it was sick as hell. I want to buy it, as I turn 16 in less than 2 months, and its at a very reasonable price ($19,500 USD and only 22k miles!) so thats around 28,000 AUD and 35,000 km on the odometer. I'd say it's a steal

We got the generation 8 evo in 2003. But they were here before then...

GeoffGeoff: yeah we started with the Evo VIII but there were some right hand drive evos floating around as gray market imports, same as the R33/R34 Skylines. and I would love to buy it i just gotta convince my parents. as for upgrades its pretty well off as is. 330 WHP good for 0-60 in 4.3 in Texas humidity. on cold days that figure will drop to about 4.1

my friends friend has an evo, and he had an old evo tht he wrecked but it was puttin out 45psi or 55psi of boost and had a custom build motor from ems or soemthing liek that and the motor had like 754 horses before he wrecked it he was to get an even bigger better motor that would have around 900 horses but he wrecked the damn thing so the 900 horses never came. but his evo that he has now wil run the quarter mile at like 135mph i think he told me at 9 or 10 seconds. fckin crazy shtttt.
evos are turely amazing!
