thatll suck.

i drove by 2 places where major fires took place today and it was soo bad. One place was burnt for about 10 miles straight it seemed like. The other place burned for like 3 miles straight up next the a nuclear power plant which is like 7 miles from my house.

i havnet really had a chance to check out the news since like friday... whats going on with these? Are they still as bad as they were before? a bunch of stuff in this thread is sad to hear :(

and dibbs, i think the fires are starting to die down cause it rained a bit yesterday

lol no i dont have cancer. And yeah dibbs like nick said the fires are calming down since it rained a bit and the winds stopped for the most part which means aircraft can now fly and drop water so its easier to control the fires now
 
earthquakes, sheckler, fires... what dont we get haha.

all i can say is at least it isnt as windy as before or we'd all be screwed.

Mammoth and June are the best at about 5 hours from SD. Mt. High, Big Bear, Snow Summit and Mt. Baldy are all within 2 hours and I think I'm forgetting some but they are all here and if you want to make a little journey of it some of the best in NorCal is up in Lake Tahoe about 8 hours away and they have like 10 resorts all within like 30 minutes of one another.

Yea well we have Eucalyptus trees here thanks to you guys and those things just don't know when to stop burning.
