I haven't used Solid headsets.
But i've heard some good stuff from Andrew about those headsets though.

yeah, Andrew used to have a Solid Bike Co. headset. its pretty good i rode his scoot when he had it on.

i plan on getting one as soon as i learn not to blow all my money on supplies. hopefully by the end of january i will have one.. and for sure there better than fsa pigs at least.. those headsets suck.

no, i had a ciari, it really sucked. its sooo smooth but spun like 1 time really slow. but very very smooth. so if you really only care about smoothness then this is for you.

def i popped my headset in less then a week then i had to put my stock headset on

Solid headsets are really good, everyone on BG says they're the best headsets along with Kings.

They are good. Virtually indestructible and super smooth. Not as fast as a ball bearing headset but they are well worth it.
