Jason Elies said:EA Scoot:
- Start off on a stock Razor Pro with $40 to spend on basic parts like griptape, bolts, spray paint and Yaks or hot glue stocks. Trolley poles can be earnt by scouting out trolleys at shopping centres and depending what type you find, you can use.
- The longer you spend at a spot and the more trick attempts you do, the higher your skills get towards street or park.
- Only basic tricks can be landed when first starting out (unlike every other game where you can bust whatever tricks you want as soon as you start)
- As your skills progress, more "Spot", "Line" and "Trick" challenges are unlocked.
- You unlock "Mini Vid One" and bust some fat tricks and lines to put in it.
- By this point you have the ability to buy some better parts like bars and metalcores. More challenges are unlocked to contribute towards "Mini Vid Two".
- Sponsors prick up their ears and give you harder challenges, which if completed unlocks "Team Video" for the sponser of your choice.
- Big scale comps are unlocked, featuring the competition of your favourite pros. Pretty much the end of the game if you win cause what else is there to do.
- Enough progression unlocks "Parts Designer", kinda like a 3D click n drag thing where you can make your own bars or whatever.
Shit'll sell like hotcakes yo.

Word. It's like BMX. People not into BMX watch the X Games and see Chad Kagy, Scott Cranmer, Dave Mirra, and Ryan Nyquist. But have no idea about great riders like Chase Hawk, Corey Martinez, or Edwin.coryM said:^^Theres no reason scooters cant be main stream and also have an "underground" side to it. Im all for scooters in the x-games. It would help get more noobs into it. But its not like xgames is going to make scooters legit....
On that note.coryM said:I hope the sport leans more toward videos and less toward contests.
