A big fuck you goes out to them.

In case you didn't know, they are going to air an episode showing Steve Irwin in hell with a stingray barb through his heart.

Seriously who does that, thats just so low... They have pissed off people before but thats just slack.

So because its a cartoon its allowed to say whatever it likes?

What if I made a cartoon calling every single person here on SR a dick head which would make it ok because its a cartoon.

yeah, most of us are dickheads....it wouldn't be that hard to make fun of this forum...

and idk, most people in australia are taking this whole steve erwin death pretty hard, i can understand why....but in the states....specially canada where they're from....noone really cares too much about steve erwins death...

he fucking wrestles alligators, smacks sharks in the face with his baby, and he gets killed by a stingray...

not being a dick or anything, but thats a little bit ironic...and hilarious.

I think they should just wait and give it some time for a while. Cause he has just recently died and I don't think they should go straight out and start bagging him out.

But then again, Australian culture doesnt take anything to heart.

there were text messages running around australia teasing him about his death just a couple of hours after it happened... what im sayin is it is a cartoon and you dont need to take it to heart..
although this doesnt make it alright just because its a cartoon..

But the slak thing is they didn't say sorry about it.

Dude, That was wrong, It was just, TOO soon, but they also showed Mahatama Ghandi, Princess Diana, and Hitler (Of course they can show Hitler all they want, nobody really cares about that jerk, least I don't anyway). I think it was wrong, but Matt and Trey's philosophy on the subject is either everything is Okay to show or nothing is okay to show. They proved that, but They could have picked a better way. Also Steve Irwin was shown Dying in an episode of the Simpsons but, I haven't heard any cammotion about that (even though that was BEFORE his death) its just the kinda thing you gotta take on the chin, I guess.

I haven't posted a thread on the episode (like I usually do for the new episodes) in respect to both Steve and everyone else on the Resource who wants to respect his death. So don't expect me to show you the episode, and I urge everyone else NOT to post a Thread about it.

They showed Steve Irwin on South Park, Just Standing there, then he leaves. His Appearance was over the top but still, it Shows that Matt and Trey acknowledged his death when they could have just ignored it (although that would have been smarter by the way everyone here is reacting to the showing)

Ahh sorry, you missed my point.

Im saying its showing a lack of respect to him and his family, you just don't do that sort of thing when someone has died...

However it does seem like media hype, I haven't seen the episode (haven't realized here) but what I heard from the news etc. Is a lot worse than what I heard.

But my point still stands its just disrespectful to him and his family.
