Don't know what you mean by that, but get the compression system. As long as you install it right you will never have shake.

that is BS or maybe i just have a fucked up headset?? but i have the SR fork and compretion. sys. and either its nice and tight and absolutely NO spin at all. or really nice smooth spin but wobbly as a bitch. im pissed and i just want to use my stock razor shit which in my opinion right now is better then the fsa, SR fork.

Assuming your compression system is installed correctly that means your headset is f---ed up. Sounds like you are missing the cone that goes in the top cap to keep it centered.

Despite all these problems, I'm just over breaking forks so I'm still getting one... Although it is discouraging with all these misshaps.

How many people bent RAD V1 bars... and V2 bars... and even broke them???

...and people still go wild for the chance to get some. No part is ever going to be completely indestructible ESPECIALLY when they are first released which is why there are V2 and V3 and V4 etc. You have to constantly be fine tuning your products eliminating every possible flaw... some of which are impossible to predict until people get out there and ride them.

When BUFF bars are released next month with the V2 forks, that will be the closest to indestructible you will get right now.

Alex Schad bent his SR forks... I might reinforce mine with t-tube or something if it fits. I know i wont mind the extra weight lol. But right now my headset is a little bit loose too, just because ive only really tightened it twice (compression system)... andrew said it will probably take 3 times of tightening it to 'break it in' then it will stay tight forever. If after that it still coming loose (i notice its getting harder to tighten too...) ill hit my starnut in just a wee bit farther. Im scared to do it though because i had someone do it for me before and ive already messed up 2 starnuts...... lol.

I think , if Andrew says its good , it has to be good. Like he sort of said , its the V1 so expect some little crap but then after he knows the crap , he will go make it no crap and then that = better. Thats how about everything works I guess.

Support him to get better not complain and all.

As for V2s, to my knowledge, nobody. I've only heard that Cary only managed to make some dents but not bent even a degree. People who have used them and went over to V3s, have changed the bars because of the looks or they just want wider bars.

Correct me if i'm wrong.

na all the nescessary parts are the there i just think my headset is fucked and i think my compression system is fucked cuz as i was getting it in my TTube its kinda like crooked in there so the bolt wont catch the threads right so its kinda fucked but ill just get a new headset and new compression system for over sized bars cuz i have RAds coming in the mail.

You need to break your headset in... mine was crap when i tightened the compression system up and i just rode it anyway and it broke in.

Yeah V2s were just plain overkill....
V1s only bent since they were only .035 crossbar which noone bent during the testing except david a little bit after thye were for sale. But Andrew is right. NO part will ever be indestructable. The newest version of the rads I think is a pretty decent mix between strength, weight and cost though.

I think part of the reason anyone would have any sort of problems with any parts would be their own lack of mechanical skill. Aside form parts breaking that is.

Fernando from Peru bent his V2s at TIC.

chris bartniki bent his at TIC so i guess it is possible to break them then
Bending and breaking are not the same thing.

After Chris started throwing flairs in his runs on the giant quarter to bank he came to me and told me that he thought he broke his fork cause his bars were bent. I told him I doubt he broke them and that they were probably just bent and told him to take his bars off so I could look at them. Once he got them off we looked at them and saw that they were just bent and I told him to put everything back together and bend them back and that he would still be good to go for the rest of the night.

He did and he proceeded to throw wallride to flair outs on the same quarter to bank in best trick.

Now try that with a Razor fork.

Word. Half the problems I have heard with the SR threadless forks is people screwing up the starnut... IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING TAKE IT TO A BIKE SHOP!

There is nothing wrong with the forks or the compression system... it is all brand new stuff and has been tested and WORKS. Every part is identically made and 90% of the people who use it don't have problems so if you do then you are doing something wrong. The only exception to this is the steerer tube on the V1 SR forks which is known NOW to be too weak for ADVANCED riders but the V2 forks will eliminate this problem.

OG Andy wrote in "your scooter" thread that he got some custom bars from Fernando that looked like RAD v2 bars. So those weren't RADs that Fernando broke at TIC.

Any more offers of people who broke RAD V2s? :D

By the way, can anyone post pictures of their broken/bent SR v1 forks?
