can i use standart french id muffin/razor bar with scs?

you can, you would need a thicker shim, though. the question is, why would you want to?

when you cut off the slit, i think one of two things will happen. The part that is larger at the bottom either will be completely gone so your bars will be too skinny, or you will not have enough of the large part to fit into the top half of the clamp.

edit: (i posted at the same time a the person above me) Yeah, maybe a thicker shim is possible. didn't think of that.
