ok so i got my scs for the first time and i dont know how to put in the star nut properly please help

go to a bike shop and ask them if you can use there star nut thing to put it in

get the scs bolt, place the star nut on top of fork scew bolt in and get wood and bang it than straighten it if its crooked.

Go to a bike shop and ask them. It is usually free or maybe five dollars.

It's like ten bucks for the proper tool by Park Tools that guarantees it goes in str8 every time. (the newer version for $20 is better because you won't pinch your hand)
