Starnut slipping

So i have C4's and i put in the starnut from the inward compression kit and it doesn't stay in place when i tighten my compression bolt. Its the right size and it is tight in the bars. I tried putting some jb weld under the starnut flanges but it still slipped after a while. How can i keep it from slipping inside my bars?

k i'll try. Im getting a seatpost clamp so w/e. i just wanted to fix it.
But yeah i like tighten it and hear a clink and it goes alot looser.

starnuts just dont stay in position on chromoly parts as good as they do on aluminum parts. my friend and cousin were using inverted compression on their chromoly one pieces and they had the same problem. however im using buffs and the starnut has never moved. its just because aluminum is softer so the flanges dig into the metal better. hope that helps

Yeah i know what you mean. I got an idea that you could put a couple small welds in the bars underneath the starnut and it would work.
