I don't really do any tricks that I don't find fun. I never learned how to briflip, and never plan on it. I don't find them fun at all. Same with some other tricks. I ride for the love of being in the air. Boosting anything is just the best thing ever, especially hips and transfers :)
Just only ride the stuff you love, be it flat or vert, tech or flow. Don't just have your style influenced by the crowd, do what feels awesome and if someone tells you to learn something you dont find fun at all, just screw em hahah.
And idk if it's just me, but sometimes I go skating instead of scootering, and I just don't want to skate after like an hour so I go back home and get my baby. That's how I know I was meant to ride scooters, not bikes or boards.

I challenge you to get bored with street. If you do, your not creative enough or just plain shit and should probably just stop riding all together either way.

Go ride out of town, scootering doesn't bore me, the spots i ride daily do take a trip across town or go out of town and ride it makes you want to ride more:)
