So stay the hell out of this thread. and Congrats for making it onto my shit list.

Anyways, yea its pretty sad that Steve died. he was an awesome guy. Loved animals, and loved his family. I couldnt believe it when i read it...Stingray stung him under his ribcage and right through the heart apparently....killed him instantly. But in the end, i dont think Steve would have wanted to go any otherway. He died doing what he loved. R.I.P.

One thing that is real bad is that Steves Wife..Doesn't know he is dead yet..She is still in the mountians Climbing..

And to anyone who thinks hes a dick for the Child and Croc situation..comeon, may not have been the smartest move..but fuck me who here has ever done anything dumb befor..

Poor guy..he died doing something he loved,as painfull as it mite have been, im sure he wouldn't have wanted to die anyouther way,besides maby with a croc!!

Like me..if i died scooting...it would be gay yes,but i would prefer it than getting hit by a car!

You really think Steve Irwin, who had spent his entire life around crocodiles, would put his child in front of a croc without not knowing what he was doing?....Moron.

Steve was a good guy, he helped out the animals and made alot of people aware of the problems concerning the wilderness, although i didnt like the way he made australians look stupid, it still is a huge tragedy.

exactly what i thought, he said it was a safe distance, i doubt there is anyone else on earth that knows that more than steve irvin.

it is upsetting and a shock to hear this as he always seemed to have such a intuition of what animals would do however sometimes you just let your guard dowm i guess. He was unlucky, only 3 people in Australia have ever been killed by a stingray.

He was adored by his daughter, you can see that, and he leaves behind a baby son

Its Irwin...not Irvin...atleast get his name right. And his wife knows about his death now. And there is footage of the death. Apparently the footage shows Steve swimming above the stingray, which had an abnormally Large stinger(barb) on his tail. Which is why they wanted to film it so badly, and Steve was above it, when suddenly it became defensive, snapping its tail, and stabbing him under the ribcage and through his heart...he died less then minutes later. The footage it out there, and His wife Terri is contemplating if she wants it released or not.

yeah i agree. it would be kinda wrong to put the footy out imagine your best friend or wife dying a death like that than having to see it all over the inernet. i know ppl that say he deserved are crackheads i mean cmon hes done so much to help wildlife....
