Why is it so necessary to buy new parts all the time? This mindset of constantly buying, which is true not just for scooters but for bikes of all types, skateboards, cars, etc., is very destructive and also completely worthless. Many individuals fe... READ THE WHOLE STORY HERE

I'm a total culprit of this. ever since i snapped my scorcher and ate ----- I've been worried about breaking another part and hurting myself. Its seriously the worst way to bail.

So when parts get sketchy on me, I buy a new one.

honestly who cares if they keep buying parts, it helps pump money into the sport.

personally i wait till sumthing is pretty much unridable to replace it tho, but if little kids' parents wanna keep giving companies money i dont see a problem wit it.

Because, let's face it, what's more fun to drive, a stock Toyota supra or a ferrari that's been pimped the fuck out with expensive useless shit? I rest my case.

This article is absolutely true. I get free junk from the scrap yard, and I buy STRONG parts. No aluminum forks, or bars. Just things that will last. Then I ride them until they break somehow.

i'm riding a stock mgp wheel and stock mgp team wheel both about to brake, i cracked my headset cup and the bearings are pee much screwed, my bearings are shot but i dont have new parts, i'm waiting for the parts that i would rather over some come into stock, but i'm not a person that goes out and buys stuff just for the heck of it, i need these parts because my scooter is about to brake

That logic is so far from the point.

If you have a pimped out ferrari, are you going to continue to buy new stuff for it? Essentially replacing the old car?
No, you're not.

This is my favorite article on SR, so many kids do this from my town its fucking annoying. I usually just make my own bars and brakes now, so I won't be needing any parts for a while now.
