well yea, theres been small solar flares and increased solar activity for over a year, the ones that happened on and after thurday were much more widespread.

i also found that there was one in august that wasnt aimed directly at us but we were still slightly effected by it.

this doesnt mean thats what it is, the last 2 were right before an earthquake which means it could have been fracking. i heard some account that the ground was vibrating before it so it's possible.

either that or someone is playing a really really big joke on everyone.

There was a thread on reddit about this. They came to the conclusion that is was probably a viral marketing campaign, or just the regular people on youtube being stupid. We established that most of the videos filmed in South America had been faked, with the sound edited in pretty obviously. We also thought that it was interesting that none of them were filmed on street level or sidwalks. All of the videos were filmed from high rises. It may not mean much, but it's an interesting thing to note. Also, one user did an in-depth search of a few of the users who posted the videos. Most of them had dumb conspiracy mayan calender end of the world bull----- or alien conspiracy bull----- or extremist book of revelation bullshit.

EDIT: It appears that the sun had a rather large coronal ejection last night, and there is a large solar flare heading our way. Interesting.

if this is a hoax, this is one elaborate ass hoax. i can't say it is though, even if some videos are fake theres still a shit load of others.

and yea there was a cme on thursday, and theres a few just about every time a wave of these videos pop up on youtube. i dont know if its related but it's possible.

The earth is vibrating all the time.
a. most are too minute to feel.
b. the earth is also spinning at over a thousand miles per hour, I have yet to really feel it.

well i know that but if the vibrations are at the frequency and strength to where we can hear them so vividly, why can't we feel them as well?

theres been quite a few reports of people feeling vibrations while the sounds are happening.

i never said it was definitely fracking though, im just putting out suggestions.

O lovely, there are thousands of youtube videos. There are also 3,070 youtube videos about jackalopes. :)

I'm sorry, you linked to a bunch of youtube videos filled with barely audible sounds, that sound nothing alike, filmed with low quality camera's. Not saying there can't be an atmosphere change or plate shift that could cause "noises", but if your best evidence is the occasional obscure news article and a bunch of homegrown youtube videos. You #1 have too much time on your hands and #2 have no real proof.

I will admit the threads kind of amusing though.

theres a difference, those videos are JOKES, these arent jokes. you're comparing a mythical creature with a natural phenomenon people are actually hearing, and feeling in some cases.

you can clearly hear the noises, they clearly sound very alike, and theres clearly something going on when even someone IN THIS THREAD claimed they have heard the noises. the entire country of costa rica heard the noises. its either a really really damn good magic trick or it's happening.

i think its not real becuase most of these videos have been posted last year and i havent heard anything about it also the noise sounds really loud so you would think more people would record it and the media would be covering alot more
