Stripped Bolt

So the head of the bolt in my clamp is stripped I was wondering If Cutting it down the center would fix my problem?

Do you mean if that part is stripped? then get a bigger Allen key and hammer it in

like a straight line accross then use like a flatheaded screwdriver to tighten or loosen it?

naww those things will just ruin ur tools, if its an scs then tighten all the other bolts really tight and try to get just a lil part of the stripped part that catches and just slowly loosen, that happend to mine and tried the other things and it ruined my tools but the way i described works in like a min. or so

Tighten the other bolt(s) as tight as possible, then put the allen in, and tilt it sideways so one ridge of the allen is in the crack of the bolt, and press as hard as you can without it coming out. Slowly twist it til its starts to twist then keep doing it until you can finger twist it or it's out. Hope it helps!

Get some oil/grease on the end allen wrench and dip it in sand or dirt. Then use. It usually works.
