Stripped Fork..Help?

Alright, well my pro fork is stripped and when i was trying to take off the dustcover it doesnt work because it wont move passed a certain point and is basically stuck there.
Any Idea's on how i can get if off so i can ride again?

but the only problem to that is that is like half way down the fork and if i hacksaw it it problably wont be rideable.

try adding a butt load of WD-40
when in doubt, LUBRICATE!!

just lock it in a vice and take something long in your fork and trist llike crazy

this has happened to me on a new a and my friends pro. it sucks but u just gotta try to get it off (which probably won't happen). if not, use a hacksaw and continue using the fork if its some how long enough or just get a new one.

have you ever used WD40 ......it actually lubes stuff up even though i may be a solvent

go to a hard wear store or bmx store
and ask for some thing that threadds stuff they have it in thew my local chill shop(bike shop)

Home depot will thread stuff for you if you buy a cross bar.

use a large wrench/channel lock. you could also try clearing out some of the crap/smooshed metal from between the threads with something sharp.

and dw40 can be used as a solvent or a lubricant as well as lot of other things.

If you have another fork then just hacksaw it. if you still need the fork then try oiling it up and turning it with channel locks and a vice. if that doesnt work then take it to the bike shop.
