Stripped HIC clamp. Help :(

OK so I have a district double clamp (I know its a crappy clamp but still) and what a surprise, it stripped. Not the bolt, the actual clamp. I've tried using a bolt and nut already, and thanks to the design of the clamp, it curves near the holes, making it uneven and not able to hold tight. Is there any way to re-thread the clamp? I'm getting a new clamp soon but in the meantime its the only week out of 2 months that its been dry out, and now I'm stuck not being able to ride.
HELPP :(

Justin theres barely any metal around that spot, it would just break the clamp
And Kroto that might work, I'll have to get a bigger bolt sometime

You could get larger bolts and get someone to drill and tap it for you, like a machine shop. You could do it yourself, but taps can be expensive and the job requires a bit of experience. You would also need a tap wrench.
