Today at my local this 13-14 year old kid shows up and has a scooter that's probably as good as mine if not a little better. He rides up to me and starts asking me a bunch of stupid questions about riding. Then asks me if I like my phoenix smooth scs, and I am indeffernt about it, I'd perfer a proto scs like he had. Then out of no where the kid offers me his Blunt strippers for my Ultra pro bars (rawed) and his proto scs for my phoenix scs.

I obviously took the deal. Some kids don't know what they have as far as $$ wise because their parents spoil the crud out of them and they just go and trade it for parts that they want at the moment, even though that part might be worth less or is allot crappier.

Anyone ever have this happen to them?

Pretty recently a kid wanted to trade me his week old 100mm phoenix wheels for my 6 month old black on blue demons. I tried to be nice and even said its such a bad deal on his part, but he reeeeaally wanted black on blue. He was taking the wheels off to do the trade and then his jitbag friend told him not to.

I didnt take advantage of him at all. I explained over and over that his wheels are worth $100 new, and mine were only $50 new, his wheels were new, mine were old as shit.
He just kept saying he didnt care, he just wanted black on blue wheels and his parents were getting him new wheels for his birthday in a few weeks.
Its not taking advantage of him if he understands all that.

Thats cause its williamstown haha. A lot of the kids there have some crazy set ups, but still get new shit every week.
