No. This motivated me to do better when i was starting out, because i didn't have an all aftermarket scooter, all i had was an a model. Rather than just giving up because i didn't have any money to buy "good" parts, i just went out and rode.

id rather watch someone that has freaking crazy style then someone that has better tricks, but has shit style. and imo i think undailed scoots/stock razor kills style. you just look like a little kid on a stock razor. i know mckeen is crazy and all that shit and i think it would have looked better on a better scoot. if we're judging clothing in this thread then the actual scooter should also be in it.

idk man, for me mongo kills it...
try to learn to push with your back foot, it's not as hard to switch over than on a board. But it was pretty good

I've recently started working a new video, and I've made it a point to eliminate almost all mongo pushing. I've really been amazed with how much better my riding looks, I hope people will see the difference when it comes out.

Another aspect of style (IMO) is riding with confidence. It's not as tangible as some of the other points brought up in this article/thread, but I think it really can affect someones overall style when they are riding around not really looking like they think they are going to pull their next trick.

I can see where you are coming with that. Pretty much make it look like everything you do is the easiest thing you have ever done. Land that huge banger and just cruise away, no big deal. Roll up to the gap as if you are about to sesh a manual pad, totally nonchalant.

i don't see why anyone would ever tell anyone how to dress or ride to make them look better or have better style, like, what are you my mom? why does it matter what someone wears or what they ride or how they push, why does it matter? this annoys me so much because theres no reason for it, its called doing what you want, like if i wanna wear boots camo shorts and a big winter jacket when i ride, why do i have to be judged? why are you trying to get people to change? let it go.
