I got a new switchblade and it wont fit into my phoenix deck..

I tapped it with a rubber mallet and even tried using a little wd-40. It wont go in. From a certain angle, it looks like my one drop out may be very very very very slightly bent upward, but maybe Im just tired and paranoid.

Anyone else have the same problem or one like this?
Any suggestions?

I bought it from a local bike shop that just started carrying scooter parts.

This is a question for anyone who has a new switchblade, is it me or do they seem thicker?

Then take it back to them dude. If you don't think it's a defect then it's your deck.

My brother got one a couple weeks ago and its fine and I don't think Phoenix would make switchblades thicker so they don't fit

After I broke 2 switchblades in like 2 months, I havent ridden one. So its been at least 4 months since Ive ever seen one haha, I guess I guess I thought I remembered them being thinner.

They had 2 more and I know the owner so Ill trade it with another one and see how that works.

no its nto the switchblade. i had to deal with this plenty. the dropouts on the deck are bent in. when you tighten your axle is slightly bends that end in, get a wrench, squeeze the sides of the switchblade together, and while doign that, place in and hammer the brake in, after you get past the end it will get easier and just slide down like normal. or use a strong vise and a shit ton of leverage on the end of a wrench to bent the dropouts back to normal.
