Anybody into modding? I never got into doing modchips since i fuckedd up doing my PS1 like 10 years ago (couldn't solder than and still can't solder today haha). I have my PS2 softmodded to run backups and homebrew. My PSP is softmodded also. I know Xbox360 drives can be flashed for backups.

My PS2:
-40GB Hard Drive
-Free MC Boot
-Ulaunchelf
-ESR
-HD Loader
-SMS
-PGEN
-SNES Station
-Codebreaker
-Codebreaker modded for HDL

Might try to run Linux on it soon since i have a few extra harddrives now.

PSP has the most recent firmware mod on there, can't remember the name. Don't have any apps on there right now, just Grand Turismo and Need for Speed Shift.

runs homebrew, ROMS, and all kinds of emulators. right now i've got Nes, Snes, and gameboy color emulators on it, with tons of roms for each one. Homebrew wise i've got a PDA, internet browser, IPOD clone, i can control my PC from the touchscreen on the DS. got a few synth programs on it, oh and scummvm (thanks to bri) so i can run all your favorite lucasarts point and click adventures. tons more stuff too haha

lol no i meant how much does all this modding shit cost?
Nate's DS - $20

My PS2 - PS2 network adapter $40, 80GB IDE Hard drive $40ish, memory card you probably already have.

PSP - "pandora-ized" battery could be free - decent sized memory stick - $15

I have...

A DS with an R4, just to run the roms of games on, even though its my brothers.

A PSP with IRshell (Love) Basically like a new operating system, running out of 3.40OE-a custom firmware.
IRshell lets you have music running anytime, and is generally faster/other random shit, i just use music.
AND!
My brother owns the other psp, but it's basically my pride and joy.
Still has 1.50 firmware on it ;)
If anyone knows what that means, you'll understand.

A red-ringed xbox, but it was modded to play backups.

Good websites that i use;
www.pspiso.com
www.wiiso.com
www.xbox360iso.com

All forums, all require registering, but a great source of information/games, etc.

Nah, you have to get one of the OG model PS3s to play PS2 games. I imagine, whenever the PS3 gets cracked, that someone is going to make a app for it to play them through emulation though.
