so i have the money for both of these setups but i dont know which is better. I alreay have an x grip, go pro, tripod.

setup #1
canon vixia hf m500, opteka ultra fisheye.
the reason I'm unsure about getting this setup is because the opteka makes everything look so soft, will it do that with a hd camcorder?

setup #2
t3i, rokinon 8mm, 50mm 1.8
well filmed footage looks so clean with a dslr but it is very expensive. I want to be sure this setup is better than the first because its a lot of money. I can do some good quality photos with this setup as well so I wouldn't just be stuck to filming unlike setup no. 1

So overall which setup should i get?

I would get the t3i if you could. I have all of those lenses and that's a great variety of lenses. Only thing I would suggest is extra batteries and maybe a battery grip/x-grip/glidecam

t3i i was looking into these for a very long time its a great camera. or you can get the 60d with a lens from best buy for about the same price as the t3i setup that you want

I would get the t3i it takes good video and photos and there is a wide variety of lenses to choose from.
