Taking bars without slit off a fork?

I hammered district v3's without a slit onto my fork, just assuming everything would work fine. Then, I realized after I had put them on that the headset was loose an I needed to trade my fork. Is there any special trick when trying to take them off? I already tried lubing the millimeter of fork showing an lots of pulling. My dad says we should just cut them off, destroying my brand new bars. Help!
(oh and Merry Christmas everyone!)

if u dont want to damage ur wheel then, take ur wheel of and put a screwdriver in ur fork where the axle goes, hold it and twist ur bars back and forth
edit:
or that^^

get two cars, some rope, and wrap the rope around the bars and some rope around / between the spokes of the wheel (if they're big enough, if not wrap it somehow around the fork) and drive

sounds like effort but .. it works. if it wont come off. better than wasting good bars/fork

think about how much force it takes to hammer bars onto something. now flip it upside down and hit them off. use all your strength and dont be a pussy. but what Hep said is a good idea.

Brandon Kilbury successfully dismantled his ICS like this. Foolproof.
