got some flavors but i really need extra height, gonna use tubing my old oversized batwings to taper them, only problem is i dont own (or know anyone who does own) a welder

Anyone know a way to do it? i was thinking metal epoxy but idk if itll be strong enough. also thought about bolting it but that would look bad af

idk if stlitting the OS tubing at the top and putting an OS clamp there would work(hic in bottom then clamp to flavour bars at top, no slit in flavour bars)? i really dont know just a suggestion

im sure thatd work but itd look weird

but yeah i might actually just have a better look round for someone who can weld it, bars snapping or slipping while throwing down on a set would be death

Just buy new bars, new Flavor bars are like 25 H out of SCS x 24.5 wide

I was gonna suggest the same. If you don't have a welder,
then create notches in the OS tube and use an OS clamp.
And *boom*, you have height-adjustable bars.

Ive just used the epoxy, although i put some standard bar tubing underneath where the flavours end, this way the bars wont slip down. The stuff i used is supposed to hold 150kgs so i think itll hold up okay. if i notice it slip at all ill just run an os clamp on it

That'll work like a charm. Maybe go to a car meetup (like ricers and shit) and ask if any of them know a welder or are one. When me and my friend couldn't find a welder to fix his bike thats what we did haha it cost like 25$ but it was quality

Honestly dude? You trust some jerry-rigged crap like that? Just find a welder and do it properly, you don't want your bars snapping on you, and epoxy is definitely not strong enough.

I may sound like an idiot but honestly im confident in it for everything but drops, id say its probably more likely for my bars to come flying out of my scs then it is for the bars to fall apart.
I made sure that theres atleast like 4" of the bars overlapping so it gets a solid amount of contact with the epoxy, plus as i mentioned before I put more standard bar tubing below the flavor bars so theres no chance of them slipping down. ontop of that i only weigh like 55kgs and I generally land pretty light and clean.

ill try get it welded soon, doubt theyre gonna hold up for too long, plus i wanna be able to not die on sets.

Buy a custom hella dank ghetto scs
In all seriousness you better have some damn JB weld if you have any hopes of riding it for awhile. Or Atleast the strongest glue you can find.

Get it welded at a body shop. It will cost you under $15 us

Do not use JB weld, all that is is glue.

Take them to a body shop, I've done it many times and they usually just do it for free.

I stick welded my friends bars to make them taller. They cracked pretty quickly though. It was probably my fault, but tapered bars will always have a weak spot.
